This is a hands-on role for dependable, detail-oriented individuals who take pride in their work and want to grow with a company that values consistency, accountability, and strong team culture.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform daily cleaning of restrooms, offices, hallways, lobbies, and common areas across assigned sites
• Maintain high standards in state and municipal facilities, including detailed sanitation and restocking
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and disinfect surfaces using proper chemicals and techniques
• Remove trash and recycling, ensuring liners are replaced and areas remain odor-free
• Clean and maintain breakrooms, including appliances (microwaves, refrigerators, etc.)
• Perform floor care such as mopping, buffing, and assisting with strip & wax or carpet extraction projects
• Support deep cleaning and special projects (summer cleans, post-event cleaning, etc.)
• Monitor and restock consumables (paper towels, soap, toilet paper, liners)
• Report maintenance issues such as lighting, plumbing concerns, or damaged fixtures
• Follow all OSHA and safety protocols, including proper chemical use and wet floor procedures
• Maintain assigned janitorial closets and equipment in an organized, professional manner

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience in janitorial, custodial, or facility cleaning (commercial or government facilities preferred)
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, equipment, and best practices (buffers, auto scrubbers, vacuums, etc.)
• Experience working in environments such as offices, state buildings, schools, or high-traffic facilities
• Ability to handle physical tasks, including standing, bending, lifting, and repetitive movement
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team
• Reliable transportation and consistent attendance
• Basic communication skills and ability to follow instructions
