Chief of Staff

Greenbrook Medical
New York, NY Full Time
POSTED ON 8/11/2025 CLOSED ON 9/3/2025

What are the responsibilities and job description for the Chief of Staff position at Greenbrook Medical?

About Us

At Greenbrook Medical, we believe seniors deserve more from the healthcare system—more time, more care, more coordination, and more heart. We provide high-touch, relationship-based primary care to seniors, built around one simple idea: deliver the kind of care we’d want for our own parents.

Founded by two brothers—Raj and Neil Machhar—and inspired by their father’s pioneering work in Medicare Advantage, Greenbrook is deeply personal and proudly modern. We quarterback our patients through their healthcare journey, making sure they’re never alone in a complex system. Our business model is designed around patient outcomes, not volume—so we only succeed when our patients thrive.

With roots in Tampa Bay and a partnership with Tampa General Hospital, we’re growing thoughtfully to bring our model to more communities. Our team is the heart of it all: mission-driven, values-oriented, and relentlessly committed to taking the best care of our patients.

About the Role

As Chief of Staff, you will serve as a force multiplier for our leadership team, working across operations, growth, clinical strategy, and people to drive critical initiatives forward. You’ll work closely with the CEO, Head of Operations, Chief Medical Officer, and Head of Growth to execute strategic priorities, support our clinic teams, and make sure nothing falls through the cracks.

This is an ideal role for someone who thrives in ambiguity, brings a mix of analytical and operational firepower, and is energized by solving problems that matter in healthcare. You’ll gain deep exposure across the business and help shape how we scale from a strong foundation into something extraordinary.

Compensation

Compensation range: $150,000-$175,000, with a generous performance bonus.

At Greenbrook Medical, we value fair and equitable pay. Your salary within this range will be based on your relevant, transferable experience and professional achievements.

Location: New York City strongly preferred (Hybrid). Open to exceptional remote candidates in FL, VA, TX, NY, MO (must be located in these states to be eligible).

  • Provide support with fundraising efforts, including data gathering, material preparation, and investor communications.

Accountabilities

  • Ensure 100% of departments submit and align on quarterly OKRs on time, and that leadership has visibility into cross-functional dependencies and progress.
  • Improve internal decision-making velocity by facilitating structured leadership meetings and tracking progress via a quarterly leadership survey.
  • Support data-informed strategic decision-making across the company by owning (a) our reporting & analytics and (b) the forums in which we leverage that reporting & analytics to make business decisions (Monthly Business Reviews, Quarterly Business Reviews, ad hoc performance forums, etc). Success measured via quarterly leadership survey.
  • Lead special projects and define success metrics for those projects that will inform Chief of Staff’s quarterly OKRs & KPIs.
