Job Duties:
- Prepare, administer and document medications given to facility residents under the supervision of a licensed nurse within regulatory time frames as ordered by the Physician.
- Provide residents with routine daily nursing care and services in accordance with the resident’s assessment and care plan, and as may be directed by your supervisors
- Perform other nursing duties as assigned by nursing management
- Create and maintain an atmosphere of warmth, personal interest, and positive emphasis, as well as a calm environment
- Always follow infection control techniques
- Demonstrate pride keeping areas clean and safe
- Demonstrate ongoing responsibility and commitment through good attendance and by being on time to work
- Respect the privacy and dignity of residents
Requirements:
- CNA License Required
- Must have Certified Medication technician having successfully completed a state approved training program and any necessary examination(s) in accordance with the laws of this State.
