What are the responsibilities and job description for the Upper School Principal position at Greenbrier Christian Academy?
The Upper School Principal provides spiritual, academic, and cultural leadership for grades 6–12. This role ensures a Christ-centered environment of academic excellence, discipleship, student engagement, and relational leadership.
The principal oversees curriculum delivery, faculty development, student culture and activities, discipline, parent partnership, and daily operations within the Upper School. This role works closely with Academic Support personnel and the Registrar to develop academic plans, schedule students, and support diverse learning needs.
Qualifications:
Committed Christian with a mature relationship with Jesus and alignment to the Statement of Faith.
Master’s in Educational Leadership or related field.
3–5 years teaching experience; leadership experience strongly preferred.
Strong organizational, communication, and relational skills.
