Responsibilities
- Perform lawn care tasks such as mowing, edging, trimming, and fertilizing to keep landscapes vibrant and healthy
- Assist with landscape maintenance including planting, mulching, pruning, and weed control
- Operate hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently for various landscaping projects
- Use equipment like excavators and other construction machinery for site preparation and hardscape installation
- Conduct tree care activities such as trimming, pruning, and planting to promote healthy growth
- Maintain irrigation systems and perform routine repairs to ensure optimal water distribution
- Support snow plowing operations during winter months to keep properties accessible and safe
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time while adhering to safety protocols and quality standards
Requirements
- Mechanical knowledge and familiarity with landscaping equipment and hand tools
- Experience in lawn care, landscape maintenance, or gardening preferred but not required; willingness to learn is valued
- Ability to operate power tools, excavators, and other construction machinery safely
- Knowledge of horticulture principles, tree care practices, and hardscape installation is a plus
- Strong work ethic with the ability to follow instructions accurately and work efficiently in outdoor environments
- Good physical stamina for lifting, bending, digging, and working in various weather conditions
- Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
