Greenboard is building the “Rippling” for financial compliance and operations. Our goal: enable regulated financial firms to run their back office at a higher standard with half the headcount. We’re starting with financial compliance.
Our founding team includes engineers who scaled products at Amazon, Google, and several unicorn startups. We’re backed by Y Combinator, General Catalyst, Base10 and other fantastic investors, and have raised over $20 million to date. Brand-name financial institutions already rely on Greenboard, and we’re growing quickly.
About the Role
As Chief of Staff at Greenboard, you’ll report directly to the CEO and work on all of the highest priority initiatives, including work across Sales, Marketing, Partnerships, Operations, and Product to multiply impact. You will:
- Partner with the CEO to develop and implement strategic plans and initiatives
- Analyze industry trends and competitive landscape to inform strategic decision-making
- Prepare briefs and materials for internal and external initiatives, including board meetings, investor updates, sales presentations, and key customer conversations
- Track decisions and commitments; ensure owners, timelines, and outcomes are clear and met
- Translate high-level goals into actionable team plans; drive alignment across marketing, sales, partnerships, and customer success; track progress against OKRs/KPIs
- Represent the CEO in select internal and external meetings with strong judgment and executive presence
- Gather and analyze both quantitative and qualitative data to make informed operational decisions
- Support priority hiring: craft JDs, manage pipelines, schedule loops, run debriefs
- Step in wherever needed to keep the organization running smoothly
What We're Looking For
- 1–3 years at a high-growth startup and/or top-tier management consulting
- Ruthless prioritization with a strong bias to action
- Exceptional written and verbal communication
- Executive presence with sound judgment; trusted to represent the CEO when needed
- Highly organized operator who can manage multiple initiatives and drive clarity from ambiguity
- Proactive problem-solver who turns strategy into plans with owners, timelines, and measurable outcomes
- Interest in fintech, compliance, or financial operations is a plus
- Hustle, resourcefulness, and ownership suited to an early-stage startup
- Excellent relationship-builder with ability to influence without authority
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workspace.

Salary : $100,000 - $130,000
