Build Your Future with Greenberry Industrial

For more than 50 years, Greenberry Industrial has delivered high-quality fabrication, construction, and industrial solutions built on safety, quality, innovation, and trust. As Greenberry continues to expand its support of the commercial nuclear, advanced reactor, and Department of Energy (DOE), we are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Project Support Coordinator to support nuclear procurement, fabrication, quality assurance, and project execution activities.

This position plays a critical role in supporting nuclear projects governed by ASME NQA-1 quality requirements, customer specifications, and stringent regulatory standards. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment where accuracy, traceability, compliance, and attention to detail are essential, we invite you to build your legacy with Greenberry.

Position Summary

The Project Support Coordinator supports the planning, execution, documentation, procurement, fabrication, and successful delivery of nuclear-related projects. This role is responsible for maintaining controlled project documentation, coordinating procurement and fabrication activities, supporting quality assurance requirements, managing document turnover packages, tracking project deliverables, and ensuring compliance with customer, contractual, and NQA-1 quality requirements.

The Project Support Coordinator works closely with Project Management, Engineering, Procurement, Quality Assurance, Quality Control, Manufacturing, Vendors, and Customers to support nuclear fabrication and procurement projects from project award through final delivery and closeout.

This position is heavily focused on document control, supplier and procurement coordination, material traceability, quality records management, schedule tracking, and supporting compliance with ASME NQA-1, customer quality programs, and applicable DOE and NRC requirements where applicable. These activities mirror responsibilities identified in Greenberry's nuclear procurement and QA-related positions.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Nuclear Document Control & Quality Records Management

  • Maintain controlled document management systems in accordance with NQA-1 and project-specific quality requirements.
  • Support maintenance of fabrication records, material certifications (MTRs), welding records, inspection reports, test reports, supplier documentation, and turnover packages.
  • Ensure accurate revision control and distribution of drawings, procedures, specifications, vendor data, quality records, and engineering changes.
  • Prepare and process transmittals, submittals, RFIs, supplier document packages, and customer deliverables.
  • Track documentation review cycles, approvals, comments, and disposition status.
  • Maintain project records supporting material traceability, configuration control, and record retention requirements.
  • Assist with compilation of final quality turnover packages and closeout documentation for nuclear customers.
  • Participate in document audits to verify compliance with NQA-1 requirements and customer specifications.

Nuclear Procurement & Supplier Coordination

  • Support procurement activities for nuclear-grade materials, fabricated assemblies, equipment, and subcontracted services.
  • Coordinate RFQs, purchase orders, vendor document requirements, and procurement deliverables.
  • Monitor supplier schedules and track procurement milestones to ensure timely delivery of critical project materials.
  • Coordinate receipt and review of vendor documentation, certifications, inspection reports, and data books.
  • Assist Procurement, Quality, and Engineering teams with supplier qualification documentation and compliance requirements.
  • Track supplier action items, open documentation requests, NCR responses, and corrective action commitments.
  • Coordinate source surveillance schedules, inspections, and supplier communications when required.
  • Support material status reporting and procurement progress updates for project teams.

These duties support activities commonly performed on nuclear procurement programs that require supplier qualification, vendor data management, fabrication oversight, and NQA-1 compliance.

Fabrication, Quality & Nuclear Compliance Support

  • Support fabrication teams in maintaining compliance with project-specific quality plans and nuclear requirements.
  • Assist with tracking weld documentation, inspection hold points, testing activities, NCRs, corrective actions, and quality deliverables.
  • Coordinate communication among Quality Assurance, Quality Control, Engineering, and Production personnel.
  • Monitor fabrication status and provide reporting on key project milestones and deliverables.
  • Support preparation for customer audits, quality surveillances, and project assessments.
  • Assist in maintaining material traceability and records associated with customers' nuclear quality requirements.
  • Track engineering changes and support implementation of current revisions throughout project documentation systems.
  • Promote procedural compliance, accuracy, and nuclear quality culture throughout project execution.

These responsibilities reflect Greenberry's NQA-1 quality expectations including traceability, inspection records, audits, corrective actions, and configuration control.

Project Coordination & Scheduling Support

  • Assist Project Managers with planning and execution of nuclear fabrication and procurement projects.
  • Maintain project schedules, milestone trackers, deliverable logs, procurement status reports, and action item registers.
  • Monitor project performance and identify schedule risks, documentation gaps, procurement constraints, and fabrication delays.
  • Support project reviews, customer meetings, procurement coordination meetings, and quality status meetings.
  • Develop meeting minutes and manage follow-up actions to completion.
  • Assist with preparation of weekly and monthly project reports.

Quality, Compliance & Risk Management

  • Support implementation and execution of project-specific NQA-1 quality requirements.
  • Ensure documentation and project records meet contractual, customer, and regulatory requirements.
  • Assist with internal and external audits, quality assessments, and surveillance activities.
  • Track NCRs, CARs, supplier issues, and project risk mitigation activities.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on quality, compliance, documentation accuracy, and execution excellence.
  • Promote a strong nuclear safety culture emphasizing procedural adherence, accountability, and conservative decision-making.

These areas are consistent with Greenberry's NQA-1 quality management expectations for nuclear fabrication projects.
