Greenbelt PT & Sports Medicine is seeking a friendly and enthusiastic Physical Therapy Aide to become a valued member of our support team. This position is available either full-time or part-time.
This position will involve providing support to our physical therapists, assisting with patient exercises and treatments, and ensuring a positive and comfortable experience for our patients. Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist physical therapists with patient care and exercise routines under the direction of the physical therapist.
- Prepare treatment areas and equipment before each session.
- Maintain clean and organized workspaces and equipment.
- Ability to handle the physical demands of the job, including lifting weights/dumbbells
- Assist the front desk with scheduling patients' appointments
- Perform clerical duties, including answering phones and managing paperwork.
Qualifications:
- Preferred prior experience working in a Chiropractic (Chiropractor), and/or Physical Therapy (Physical Therapist) office or as a Fitness Trainer.
- Applicants should have a high school diploma or equivalent, and further education in physical therapy or a related field is preferred.
- Bilingual - Spanish speaking is preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills are necessary
- Commitment to providing compassionate patient care is essential
Clinic Hours:
- Monday: 8:00 am to 4:30 pm
- Tuesday: 9:00 am to 5:00 pm
- Wednesday: 8:00 am to 6:00 pm
- Thursday: 9:00 am to 5:00 pm
- Friday: 8:00 am to 4:30 pm
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $16.50 - $22.00 per hour
