As a Social Media Volunteer, you will
- Create and schedule engaging social media posts highlighting the Greenbelt Museum, historical programming, and local heritage
- Assist in promoting events that connect the public with Greenbelt’s New Deal legacy
- Develop content aligned with the City of Greenbelt’s Social Media Guidelines and TikTok’s Community Guidelines
- Help expand public awareness of Greenbelt’s cultural and historical significance
- Strong writing and/or social media skills (TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, or related platforms)
- Interest in public history, digital storytelling, or community engagement
- Ability to communicate professionally and respectfully online
- Willingness to follow communication and content guidelines provided by the City
- Willingness to follow a brand kit.
