What are the responsibilities and job description for the Pharmacy Technician position at Greenbelt Co-op Supermarket & Pharmacy?
Job Requirements:
- High School Graduate or equivalent.
- Licensed as a registered / certified Pharmacy Technician.
Job Responsibilities:
- Assist Pharmacist (as authorized by state board of Pharmacy)
- Receive refill request for prescriptions from patients and medical practitioners
- Record information in patient profiles
- Retrieve, count and fill prescription medication provided a pharmacist verifies accuracy of the final product prior to dispensing medication to the patient.
- Pre-package prescription medications under the supervision of a pharmacist in compliance with state board of pharmacy regulations.
- Comply with all state board of pharmacy rules and licensing requirements.
- Assist pharmacist with ordering, restocking, and inventory control of Pharmaceuticals.
- Assist and checkout customers at service window.
- Stock Pharmaceuticals and health and beauty aids as needed.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
