What are the responsibilities and job description for the ERP Support Specialist position at GreenArrow?
Is This Where You’re Meant To Be?
At GreenArrow, we believe purpose and passion go hand in hand. So ask yourself, is this where you’re meant to be?
The ERP Support Specialist provides day-to-day support for GreenArrow's ERP system, Vista by Viewpoint, and assists users across the organization. This role troubleshoots ERP issues, trains users, sets up and maintains user accounts, supports data migrations from legacy ERP systems, and provides basic IT support, all while working through GreenArrow's ticketing system.
This is a customer-focused, frontline support role based within the IT department with a primary focus on ERP support. The ERP Support Specialist delivers excellent customer service while managing multiple requests, escalates complex issues to the appropriate technical teams, and contributes to broader IT initiatives and projects as needed. This position can be based out of any current GreenArrow location or performed remotely.
Who We're Looking For
The ideal candidate is someone who treats every user like a customer worth going the extra mile for — patient, responsive, and genuinely invested in helping people succeed, not just closing tickets. You take pride in doing things right: thorough troubleshooting, clear documentation, and a root-cause fix over a quick patch. You're trustworthy with sensitive access and honest when something goes wrong, and you bring the same steady, safety-first mindset to your work that GreenArrow expects from every member of our family. If you find satisfaction in making other people's day easier and holding yourself to a high standard while doing it, you'll fit right in.
How You’ll Make An Impact
- Keep the business running: Provide first-level ERP support and troubleshooting so users can get back to work quickly, with minimal disruption to daily operations.
- Be the calm, capable first point of contact: Resolve day-to-day ERP and IT issues with patience and professionalism, and know when to escalate complex problems to the right technical team.
- Protect data and system integrity: Manage user account setup, permissions, and cleanup, and support clean data migrations from legacy ERP systems as GreenArrow continues to grow.
- Set new users up for success: Train employees on ERP processes and best practices, and build documentation that helps people solve problems on their own.
- Strengthen the systems we rely on: Test new versions and configuration changes before they go live, and monitor system performance to catch issues early.
- Extend support beyond the ERP: Pitch in on everyday IT needs — password resets, MFA, software installs, device troubleshooting — so no one on the team is stuck waiting.
- Bring order to the chaos: Manage a high volume of tickets and requests at once, keeping KPIs and SLAs on track without sacrificing the quality of service.
- Contribute beyond your desk: Support broader IT initiatives and projects, helping shape how GreenArrow's technology scales as the company expands.
