Responsibilities
- Manage and develop client accounts by building strong relationships through proactive communication and personalized service.
- Oversee the production cycle, ensuring timely delivery of products or services aligned with client specifications.
- Negotiate terms with clients and vendors to optimize profitability while maintaining high customer satisfaction.
- Provide exceptional customer service.
- Direct and train foremen and crew members;
- Sell and manage landscape contracts that include maintenance, planting, and installation services to residential and commercial clients;
- Monitor project activities to ensure instructions are followed and deadlines met;
- Accurately complete daily paperwork;
- Execute all company and industry safety policies, and reporting procedures for accidents/incidents and near misses;
- Evaluate crew performance;
- Supervise maintenance of crew trucks and equipment, and keep good repair, clean and ready for service, and report all equipment issues to mechanic;
- Communicate regularly with clients and crew-members;
- Inspect completed work to ensure conformance with specifications.
Requirements:
- Ability to organize a fast-paced schedule;
- Must be energetic, self-motivated, and thoroughly organized;
- Valid Driver’s License and clean driving record;
- Ability to manage crews and contractors;
- Good communication and interpersonal skills;
- Knowledge of trees, landscape plants, annuals, perennials, and horticultural practices;
- Bilingual Spanish speaker preferred;
Experience
- Proven experience in outside sales or retail sales environments with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
- Strong negotiation skills coupled with excellent communication abilities in bilingual settings.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) as well as Quick Books and Arbor Pros Tree Software.
- Experience in sales administration tasks including documentation, reporting, and client communication strategies.
