What are the responsibilities and job description for the Industrial Electrician position at Green Valley Recruiting?
We are working with a large manufacturing company in the Wadsworth, Ohio area with opening(s) for Industrial Electricians working Monday-Friday, on 2nd shift (3pm-11pm) and 3rd shift (11pm-7am), with weekend overtime required as needed. Currently working 50-60 hours weekly. A Journeyman certification, or equivalent (10 years of experience working as an industrial electrician in no journeyman’s card), is required. This is an industrial / manufacturing environment.
The right individual will be responsible for installing, maintaining and troubleshooting electrical equipment. You will be expected to work on items like boilers, pans, presses, conveyor belts, control centers, manlifts, elevators, etc. You need to have a proven track recording of troubleshooting and fixing equipment – low voltage systems, 12V-480V.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Journeyman certification, or equivalent (10 years of experience working as an industrial electrician if no journeyman’s card), required.
- High school diploma, or equivalent, required.
- Must read electrical blueprints and diagrams.
- Capable of all types of troubleshooting of all types of equipment.
- Knowledge of plc’s would be a plus
Our client offers:
- A solid hourly pay of $40.50/hr. with shift differentials (2nd-.60/hr. and 3rd .65/hr.)
- $3000.00 retention bonus paid after 6 months and 12 months of continuous service
