MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN
Maintenance Technician Responsibilities
- Responsible for providing maintenance and/or general repairs on plant equipment.
- Ensure egg grader and egg packing equipment perform at optimal performance.
- Conduct maintenance of electrical systems.
- Assist the plant manager with managing plant activities and coordinating employees.
- Assure all tasks identified on the Preventive Maintenance Schedule are completed as required.
- Assure all equipment, as well as the facility, is maintained to minimize downtime and ensure it is safe for operation.
- Notify operations to perform sanitation on all maintenance equipment in order to prevent contamination.
- Assist other departmental managers as required.
- All other duties as assigned.
Maintenance Technician Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience as a Maintenance Technician or similar role.
- Demonstrated background in electrical maintenance.
- Must be mechanically inclined with a strong desire to learn.
- High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Strong Time Management Skills.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to stand in excess of 8 hours per day.
- Position requires bending, stooping, standing, lifting, repetitive motion
- Position reports to the Maintenance Manager, Plant Manager and/or the Complex Manager.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
