Key Responsibilities
- General Facility Maintenance
- Perform routine inspections of the docks, walkways, storage areas, and restrooms
- Handle minor repairs such as tightening cleats, replacing deck boards, and repairing hoses or fixtures
- Pressure wash the docks, office, and jet ski pads
- Maintain basic electrical fixtures (replacing bulbs, outlets, and resetting breakers)
- Monitor and repair water lines and spigots for leaks or damage.
- Groundskeeping & Property Maintenance
- Keep the marina grounds, parking areas, and pathways clean, safe, and visually appealing
- Perform minor landscaping (weed eating, pulling weeds, planting and removing debris)
- Empty trash bins regularly
- Dock & Equipment Maintenance
- Inspect docks and gangways for loose boards, missing hardware, or loose cleats
- Assist in dock adjustments during changing of water levels and storm conditions
- Monitor and maintain marina equipment such as golf carts, pumps, and tools
- Assist with fuel dock upkeep including pressure washing and overall cleanliness
- Office Maintenance
- Perform light carpentry, painting, plumbing and electrical repairs
- Replace air filters, check HVAC vents and maintain general building upkeep
- Assist with seasonal maintenance such as winterizing water lines and preparing the facilities for freezing temperatures
- Operational Support
- Assist with marina vessel movements (rentals)
- Support marina events assisting with set up
- Operate pump out boat and fuel/water tank boat
- Maintain a clean, organized maintenance shops and inventory of supplies
- Customer-Focused: Strong commitment to providing excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment.
- Team Player: Ability to work well with others, collaborating across departments, and supporting co-workers as needed.
- Marina Knowledge: Previous experience in a marina or similar environment preferred but not required.
- Boat Handling: Ability to safely operate boats and assist guests with basic boating needs preferred.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift, carry, and move equipment as needed, as well as stand for extended periods.
- Weekend Availability: Must be available to work during peak weekend hours.
