Green Tree Events Is a family-owned event management company in Saco, Maine based in a cool Victorian building. We are a small, nimble team that works hard to provide excellent value for our customers. We produce events such as our own New England Made Giftware and Specialty Food shows, the Maine Governor's Conference on Tourism, the Granite State HR Conference, and many others. We are all willing to roll up our sleeves to do whatever needs to be done to that end and care deeply for both our customers and each other.
**Job Overview:**
As a family-owned small business focused on delivering exceptional event expertise and services, we seek a friendly and enthusiastic Outbound Call Representative to join our team for a 10-week project starting immediately. Your primary role will be to contact potential or prior buyers, warmly inviting them to attend the upcoming New England Made Giftware Show in Portland, Maine in March. You will play a key role in creating a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring buyers are excited about the incredible products and experiences awaiting them at the show. Hours are somewhat flexible but would require between 15-25 hours weekly during the hours of 9-5, preferably between 9-1pm. This is a contract position.
**Responsibilities:**
- Make outbound calls to a provided list of potential buyers.
- Provide detailed information about the event, including dates, location, and highlights.
- Answer any questions potential attendees may have, ensuring they feel well-informed and excited.
- Collect and update contact information and feedback from calls.
- Maintain a positive and professional demeanor throughout all interactions.
- Collaborate with the team to share insights and improve outreach strategies.
- Input customer data accurately into our system through data entry processes.
**Qualifications:**
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Friendly, warm, and engaging phone presence.
- Ability to build rapport quickly with potential attendees.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Previous experience in customer service, telemarketing, or sales is a plus.
- Comfortable working independently and as part of a team.
