General Summary:
As a focal point of the clubhouse, the receptionist is primarily responsible for interacting with members & guests in a fast paced private club atmosphere.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Supervisor Responsibilities
- None
- Primary Duties
- Greet and converse with all members in a friendly, courteous and professional manner.
- Answer phone inquiries and provide basic company information.
- Perform clerical duties, take memos, maintain files, and organize documents
- Monitor front desk and lobby area
- Oversee mail deliveries, packages, and couriers
- Create reservations for members
- Assist marketing with miscellaneous tasks
Skills and Abilities Required:
- Willingness to learn and adapt to varied and added responsibilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Highly organized multitasker who works well in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent time management
- Accuracy and attention to detail along with a strong sense of hospitality are required.
Certification/Education and Experience:
- Prior administrative or clerical experience preferred.
- Basic computer skills
Working Condition:
- Must be available to work weekends
- Potential for stressful situations with frequent interruptions
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position for prolonged periods.
- Occasionally moves various items up to 15 pounds in all directions.
- The person in this position constantly communicates with members, guests, colleagues, and managers. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations
