General Manager — Green & Tonic Rye Brook
Green & Tonic is looking for an energetic, hospitality-driven General Manager to take ownership of our Rye Brook location.
As the leader of the location, you will be responsible for creating an exceptional experience for every guest while building a team culture that is positive, energetic, accountable, and fun.
This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who loves hospitality, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and takes pride in running a great operation. You'll be on the floor with your team, building relationships with regular guests, coaching employees, solving problems, and making sure every detail reflects the Green & Tonic brand.
What You'll Own
Team Leadership & Culture
- Lead, coach, develop, and motivate the café team
- Create a positive and welcoming, environment centered around teamwork and hospitality
- Set clear expectations and hold team members accountable to Green & Tonic standards.
- Interview, hire, onboard, train, and develop team members.
Guest Experience
- Be the face of Green & Tonic and create genuine relationships with our guests and local community.
- Deliver an exceptional, friendly, knowledgeable, and consistent guest experience.
- Know the Green & Tonic menu inside and out and confidently make recommendations, substitutions, and add-on suggestions.
- Lead by example in hospitality, communication, and customer service.
- Build relationships with regular guests and help drive repeat business.
Operations
- Own the day-to-day operation of the Rye Brook location.
- Ensure all food, beverage, service, cleanliness, and presentation standards are consistently met.
- Maintain a clean, organized, safe, and welcoming café.
- Safeguard company assets, including cash, inventory, equipment, and proprietary information.
- Operate and oversee the Point of Sale system and ensure accurate transactions.
- Ensure compliance with all company policies as well as applicable local, state, and federal regulations.
Financial & Business Performance
- Take ownership of the café's financial and operational performance.
- Manage labor and staffing to meet business needs and company goals.
- Monitor sales, labor, food cost, inventory, and other key performance metrics.
- Identify opportunities to increase sales, improve efficiency, and control costs.
- Help create a culture where the team understands that great hospitality and strong business performance go hand in hand.

Location & Schedule
Green & Tonic — Rye Brook
Store Hours:
- Monday–Friday: 8:00 AM–6:00 PM
- Saturday: 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
- Sunday: 8:00 AM–4:00 PM
This is a full-time, in-person management position. The General Manager must have availability that allows them to effectively lead the café and support the needs of the business, including weekend availability as needed and opening/closing responsibilities.
