Executive Chef
Full-time Executive Chef position, on-site position based in Stamford, CT. The role involves overseeing all kitchen operations, including menu development, food preparation, inventory management, and quality assurance. The Executive Chef will lead, manage, and inspire the kitchen team while ensuring compliance with health and safety standards. Other responsibilities include sourcing fresh and sustainable ingredients, training and mentoring staff, and creating innovative and flavorful plant-based offerings that align with Green & Tonic's mission and values.
Qualifications
- Expertise in culinary techniques, menu development, and food preparation, with a focus on plant-based and health-focused cuisine
- Strong leadership, team management, training, and mentorship skills
- Ability to oversee inventory management, cost control, and supplier relationships
- Knowledge of health, safety, and hygiene regulations in kitchen operations
- Creativity in crafting innovative and flavorful recipes with sustainable and locally-sourced ingredients
- Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Prior experience in a similar role and a culinary arts degree or equivalent professional certification preferre
