What are the responsibilities and job description for the Facilities Manager position at Green Street School?
Green Street School, in Brattleboro, Vermont, has an immediate opening for a Facilities Manager to maintain, improve and protect our facilities. A qualified candidate will have proven experience in a leadership role at a facility, including experiences with industrial cleaning equipment and appliances; basic landscaping and handyman skills; knowledge of and experience implementing critical safety procedures; maintenance of state-mandated paperwork and related administrative tasks; training of staff and task delegation; and coordination of building projects and contractor services. Attention to detail and the ability to work positively and cooperatively with children and adults from diverse backgrounds is a must. High school diploma or equivalent is required.
This is a full year position with 8 hours worked per day. Wage Grade 5 ($23.81 - $31.27 per hour, depending upon experience). Green Street School is an equal opportunity employer. We encourage applicants who can add diversity to our educational community.
