For further information visit www.wsesu.org/socjus Job Description: Green Street School in Brattleboro Vermont located near beautiful downtown Brattleboro has an opening for a full-time, classroom paraprofessional for the remainder of the 2025-26 school year in our 4th grade. We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join our team amazing staff who is willing to work with students in grade levels K-6 and provide social, emotional, academic, as well as behavioral support. This position offers a fantastic opportunity for individuals interested in exploring and learning various aspects of classroom teaching. As a Paraprofessional, you will play a crucial role in supporting the educational and social development of our students. This position also provides a valuable stepping stone for those interested in pursuing a career in education. This job includes, but is not limited to the following opportunities: Assist the classroom teacher in implementing instructional activities and lesson plans. Collaborate with the teacher to create a positive and inclusive classroom environment. Foster a sense of community within the classroom and encourage positive interactions among students. Provide assistance to students in their social, emotional, and academic development, tailoring support to individual needs. Maintain a safe and supportive learning environment for all students. Candidates will also need to be willing to spend time outdoors in all weather conditions and be a part of a team to support students and colleagues.
