Job Summary
We are seeking a knowledgeable and enthusiastic Budtender to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for cannabis and a strong commitment to providing exceptional customer service. As a Budtender, you will be responsible for assisting customers in selecting products that meet their needs, educating them about various strains and consumption methods, and ensuring a positive shopping experience in our retail environment.

Duties
- Engage with customers to understand their needs and provide personalized product recommendations.
- Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently, handling transactions accurately, according to all MED Regulations.
- Maintain an organized, clean, and visually appealing display of products through effective merchandising techniques.
- Conduct product demonstrations to educate customers about different cannabis products and their uses.
- Assist in stocking shelves and managing inventory levels to ensure product availability.
- Uphold high standards of customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
- Utilize basic math skills for cash handling and retail math calculations during transactions.
- Promote upselling techniques to enhance the customer experience and increase sales.
- Ensure compliance with all state regulations regarding cannabis sales and customer interactions.
- Provide supervision and guidance to junior staff members as needed.
Requirements
- Previous experience in retail sales or dispensary environment is preferred.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse customers.
- Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply, as this can enhance customer interactions.
- Familiarity with cash handling procedures and basic math skills is essential.
- Experience in supervising staff or leading teams is a plus.
