What are the responsibilities and job description for the Server/Bartender position at Green Spot Pub?
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve drinks to patrons following standard recipes
- Take customer orders and provide recommendations when necessary
- Maintain cleanliness behind the bar and in the dining area
- Check customers' identification and confirm legal drinking age
- Handle cash and credit transactions accurately
- Upsell additional products when appropriate
- Collaborate with other staff to ensure excellent customer service
Experience:
- Previous experience in the food industry or food service is preferred
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle high-stress situations calmly
- Proficiency in basic math for handling payments and making change
- Strong sales skills to promote specials and increase revenue
- Familiarity with Aloha POS system is a plus
- Exceptional hospitality skills to provide a welcoming atmosphere for guests
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and practices
- Experience in cash handling procedures
- Experience with banquet or event bartending is an advantage
