Company Description
At Green Room Music, our mission is to build community through music. We offer both private and group instruction in a variety of instruments for all ages (including adults!). We opened in the fall of 2024 in a brand new facility, right across the street from the Mount Kisco MNR train station.
Role Description
This is a contract, on-site role for a Piano Teacher. The candidate will be responsible for providing private piano lessons. The ideal candidate is warm, kind, and enthusiastic about fostering a love and appreciation for music in both kids and adult students. We are looking for someone for whom teaching is a career, not a stop gap.
Qualifications
- Strong understanding of music theory and piano pedagogy
- Prior experience teaching students of various ages
- Performance skills and experience in piano
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A passion for music education and community involvement
- Bachelor's degree in Music or related field
