What are the responsibilities and job description for the Substitute Teacher position at Green Mountain Montessori School?
Duties:
- Provide support in the classroom when a teacher is out
- Provide behavior management and guidance to ensure a positive and safe learning environment
- Engage children in educational and recreational activities such as arts and crafts, theater, and outdoor play
- Foster social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development through interactive learning experiences
- Maintain a clean and organized classroom environment
Experience:
- Previous experience working with children in a daycare, babysitting, or early childhood education setting
- Knowledge of childhood development principles and best practices
- working well with others
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $19.50 - $20.00 per hour
