What are the responsibilities and job description for the Structural & Architectural Project Manager/Estimator position at Green Mountain Fabrication, Inc.?

Position is not remote, all candidates will be required to work in office.
Respond to requests for bids and quotes by preparing detail oriented and accurate estimates on new projects.
Assess and detail all costs for potential projects.
Compute cost by analyzing direct and indirect labor, material, and equipment requirements.
Estimate change orders on active projects.
Read and understand bid instructions, architectural / structural drawings, project specifications, etc. and incorporate detailed specifications into estimates.
Prepare material and project take-off documents.
Read and interpret shop and design drawings.
Correspond with vendors and / or clients via email or telephone contact.
Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities.
Accomplish operations and organization mission by completing related results as needed.
Full time.
Pay: $35 – $45 / hr DPE.
Medical / dental / vision insurance after 90 days; 100% of employee coverage paid for by Company.
401k matching after 6 months.
Work hours: M-F 7:00am-3:30pm, depending on company needs.
PTO to be negotiated with job offer.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience required.
10 years of steel fabrication and installation estimating experience required.
Must be familiar with Excel, Word & Bluebeam/equivalent.
Attention to detail is required of this position.
Knowledge of fabrication and erection standards and procedures for structural steel.
Knowledge of commercial / industrial building processes and construction.
Proficient in reading, understanding, and interpreting construction documents, plans and drawings.
Strong understanding of budgets and scheduling.
