We are an MEP firm with engineers who hold professional licenses in the fields of Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing Engineering, enabling us to cover a wide range of engineering design services and giving the clients the benefit of utilizing our services for all their MEP engineering design needs.
Our design services provide construction drawings, equipment schedules, legends, details, and CSI specifications for Mechanical, Electrical, and/or Plumbing design in compliance with local building codes, suitable to permit, bid and construct the project.
Our company is a new breed of engineering, combining the expertise of engineers with over 40 years of experience in the Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing design field, along with a new generation of computer trained engineers who are highly skilled in REVIT 3-D modeling software. We are currently looking for a Plumbing design Engineer to perform the following:
- Use Bluebeam, AutoCAD, and Revit to design plumbing systems for residential, commercial, and industrial projects.
- Perform calculations to size and design sanitary sewer and vent, potable water, natural gas, and storm water piping and associated systems per plumbing codes.
- Coordinate with owner, architect, and other trades as needed.
- Prepare plumbing equipment schedules.
- Draft plumbing riser diagrams (ISOs).
- Coordinate utility points of connections to and from buildings as needed with the civil engineer.
- Obtain permits from local building and safety by coordinating with plan checkers and attending verification meetings.
- Respond to RFI’s and submittals during construction administration phase.
- Attend field site visits as needed.
Requirements:
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical/Electrical/Plumbing Engineering
- Proficient in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office, experience with REVIT preferred
- Good leadership and communication skills
- Works well with others and able to work in project teams
- Detail oriented
- Able to complete work in a timely manner and meet client deadlines
- Excellent customer service and motivated to help our clients
