Budtender Responsibilities:

• Advising customers on suitable cannabis products based on their needs, preferences, budgets, and reactions to different strains of cannabis and safe usage.
• Staying informed of new cannabis products on the market as well as the latest industry trends.
• Following industry regulations & company procedures related to your job title or tasks you may be performing.
• Processing customer payments using a Point of Sale (POS) system; This includes handling returns, refunds / exchanges, and ensuring customer is receiving the proper discounts as procedure allows.
• Have a knowledge & understanding of our customer loyalty program.
• Keeping dispensary clean and well-organized at all times; sanitizing surfaces regularly, and completing daily tasks assigned to budtenders.
• Greeting customers, building rapport and providing an overall positive shopping experience.
• Correctly weighing, packaging, and labeling cannabis products as required by state regulation and/or customers request.
• Verifying customer identification documents to confirm that they are of legal age of 21 or older.
• Taking inventory of cannabis products and keeping sales floor adequately stocked.
• Checking / updating menu platforms as needed.
• Assisting in various retail operational duties such as but not limited to; packaging / labeling products, conducting inventory audits, troubleshooting / solving common issues that may arise, accepting product transfers, meeting sales goals, boosting team morale, and leading team work flow.

Budtender Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED
• 21 years of age w/ valid ID
• Reliable transportation
• A valid marijuana handlers card / food handlers - REQUIRED to apply
• Willing to work weekends / closing shift as needed
• Sound knowledge of cannabis strains and their effects / benefits
• Proficiency in general computer skills
• Outstanding organizational skills / attention to detail
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Effective communication skills
• Exceptional customer service skills
• Ability to solve basic math equations

Your core skills in retail sales, cash handling, and basic math will enable you to manage transactions efficiently. You will also utilize your communication and organizational skills to create a welcoming atmosphere and educate customers about our products. Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
