Budtender/Kavatender

We are seeking a Full-Time or Part-Time individual to primarily work at our Kenneth City Location. This location is a hybrid Dispensary and Kava Lounge.

You will train initially as a dispensary associate for 2 weeks, then be trained in the Kava Lounge. We prefer prior experience in service, as you will be required to be social with our guests. Night shift availability is required, but can be rotated with days if desired. The lounge is open til 11pm (12-1am if we still have guests). Our facility, Green Line Recreational Dispensary. Our facility is a multi-functional production/manufacturing facility, with a retail in all of our locations.

We are looking for a reliable, honest retail Sales Associate to be responsible for all in-store sales job duties, from customer service to register operation. Sales Associate duties and responsibilities include working closely with customers to determine their needs, answer their questions about our products and recommend the right solutions. You should be able to promptly resolve customer complaints and ensure maximum client satisfaction. To be successful as a Sales associate, you should stay up-to-date with product features and maintain our store’s visual appearance in high standards. Ultimately, the duties of a sales associate are to achieve excellent customer service.

For our employees that are Kavatenders, we are seeking a great attitude with an outgoing personality. Having Kavatending experience is a giant plus, but not required. Our lounge is open 9am-CL, and we prefer our tenders have open availability. We do have the lounge and dispensary running together at the lounge location, so you should be a quick learner with the ability to multi-task. Kavatending has similar traits to bartending, so you will be required to make basic drinks.

Responsibilities

• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent sales service
• Assess customers needs and provide assistance and information on product features
• Welcome customers to the store and answer their queries
• “Go the extra mile” to drive sales
• Maintain in-stock and presentable condition assigned areas
• Pay attention to customers in store
• Remain knowledgeable on products offered and discuss available options
• Process POS (point of sale) purchases
• Cross sell products
• Build productive trust relationships with customers
• Comply with inventory control procedures
• Suggest ways to improve sales (e.g. planning marketing activities, changing the store’s design)

Skills

• Basic understanding of sales principles and customer service practices
• Proficiency in English
• Basic Math skills
• Working knowledge of customer and market dynamics and requirements
• Hands-on experience with POS transactions
• Familiarity with inventory procedures
• Solid communication and interpersonal skills
• A friendly and energetic personality with customer service focus
• Ability to perform under pressure and address complaints in a timely manner
• Availability to work flexible shifts
• High school diploma

You are guaranteed a MINIMUM of $14/hr. This consists of an $11/hr base pay plus tips. Our associates are averaging at least $16-20/hr. This number is expected to be higher for our Kavatenders.
