Join the Green Light Lawn Care team! We're seeking a skilled and motivated Irrigation Technician to support our growing Lawn & Landscape Crew. This position is perfect for someone who enjoys problem-solving, working outdoors, and helping clients maintain healthy, beautiful landscapes through efficient water management systems.
Qualifications- 1 year experience in irrigation installation or maintenance (preferred, but willing to train the right candidate)
- Knowledge of irrigation controllers, valves, backflow prevention, and drip/sprinkler systems
- Ability to read irrigation plans and troubleshoot system layouts (preferred)
- Basic mechanical/electrical troubleshooting skills
- Pesticide Applicator License (RT) preferred, or willingness to obtain
- Valid Driver's License required
- Must pass background check
- Strong teamwork, communication, and customer service skills
- Willingness to relocate to West Lafayette, IN
- Install, maintain, and repair residential and commercial irrigation systems
- Diagnose and troubleshoot irrigation issues (clogs, leaks, electrical faults, broken heads, timers, valves, etc.)
- Preform system startups in the spring and winterizations in the fall
- Conduct routine inspections and prevention maintenance of irrigation systems
- Track and manage irrigation parts and inventory to ensure projects run smoothly
- Operate and perform light maintenance on irrigation tools and equipment
- Communicate professionally with clients, providing education on irrigation system use and best practices
