Clinical Research Coordinator

The Opportunity

We’re looking for a motivated Clinical Research Coordinator to join a growing clinical research team in North Carolina. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working directly with patients, supporting clinical trials and contributing to high-quality research in a fast-paced site environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate clinical research studies from start-up through completion, ensuring activities follow study protocols and regulatory requirements.
• Recruit, screen and schedule participants for clinical trials.
• Conduct informed consent discussions and maintain accurate participant documentation.
• Perform study visits, including patient assessments, vital signs, ECGs and sample collection as required by protocol.
• Maintain accurate source documentation, case report forms and electronic data capture systems.
• Monitor participant safety, document adverse events and escalate concerns appropriately.
• Collaborate with Principal Investigators, research nurses and site staff to ensure efficient study delivery.
• Maintain compliance with GCP, SOPs and applicable regulatory guidelines.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Clinical Research Coordinator or in a clinical research site environment.
• Experience supporting patient visits, participant recruitment, screening and study documentation.
• Knowledge of ICH-GCP, clinical trial protocols and regulatory requirements.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple studies and competing priorities.
• Excellent communication and patient-facing skills.
• Experience with EDC systems and electronic medical records preferred.
• Phlebotomy, ECG and other clinical assessment experience is advantageous.
