Responsibilities
- Assist with food preparation tasks, including chopping, mixing, and cooking ingredients according to recipes and standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, and disposing of waste properly.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and hygiene standards at all times.
- Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate tasks and ensure timely service during busy periods.
- Help with bussing tables and resetting dining areas as needed to support front-of-house operations.
- Participate in banquet setups and breakdowns as required for special events.
- Provide excellent customer service by being attentive to guests' needs and assisting them when necessary.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a hotel or restaurant kitchen is preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques and food safety practices is highly desirable.
- Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- A positive attitude with a willingness to learn and help others on the team.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.
