What are the responsibilities and job description for the Order Processor position at Green Leaf, Inc.?
Green Leaf, Inc. is looking for a Shipping Order Processor on 1st shift (Monday through Friday 7:00 am to 3:00 pm). This individual is responsible for performing a variety of shipping responsibilities including:
- Preparing shipments by assembling, labeling and packaging products according to customer specifications.
- Using warehouse equipment to move products between locations (method varies based on training/certifications; ex.: cart, pallet jack, forklift)
- Assisting with maintaining accurate inventory counts
- Reading picking tickets and identifying parts required to fill tickets.
- Conducting visual audits of inventory levels to assist in determining current and upcoming needs.
- Prioritizing order processing based ship dates.
- Preparing all shipments based on customer specifications and in accordance with departmental/company shipping guidelines.
- Performing visual quality inspections.
- Performing bagger responsibilities as necessary.
- Printing appropriate labels, label products and boxes.
- Packaging product for shipment.
- Communicating with co-workers, production, purchasing, customer service and other departments as necessary.
- Performing housekeeping items to ensure the workplace is clean and free of safety concerns.
- Following all safety and standard operating procedures.
- Performing other duties as assigned.
