Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Assistant Manager to oversee the daily operations of The Green Leaf Cafe/Farm. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a deep understanding of hospitality management. This role requires a hands-on approach to managing and working in kitchen operations, barista work, farm work, and all other tasks as needed.
Responsibilities
- Help lead aspects of operations, including kitchen, food preparation, barista work, farm work, gardening, etc.
- Help ensure cost control measures are in place.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain high standards of food handling practices.
- Help train staff in all areas of performance and guest satisfaction.
- Oversee inventory management, including stock levels to minimize waste.
- Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and collaboration among staff members.
- Address customer inquiries, feedback, and complaints promptly to ensure a high level of guest satisfaction.
- Collaborate with the culinary team to develop menu offerings that align with customer preferences and seasonal trends.
- Create and establish a network of events to promote and grow the customer base.
- Help manage Social media accounts to promote and grow the customer base.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in a managerial role within the casual dining industry.
- Strong knowledge of food handling, food safety regulations, and kitchen operations.
- Exceptional leadership abilities with experience in leading and training staff.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with guests and team members.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- A passion for delivering outstanding customer service and enhancing the dining experience.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $31,200.00 - $35,360.00 per year
