Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated, reliable, and detail-oriented Irrigation Technician to join our dynamic irrigation team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing irrigation systems to ensure optimal water distribution for lawns, gardens, and landscaped areas. Your expertise will help promote healthy plant growth, conserve water, and enhance the overall aesthetic appeal of our clients’ outdoor spaces. Responsibilities

• Install new irrigation systems using hand tools, power tools, and excavation equipment such as trenchers
• Conduct routine inspections and maintenance of existing irrigation setups to prevent leaks or malfunctions
• Troubleshoot and repair irrigation components including valves, controllers, pipes, and sprinkler heads
• Adjust watering schedules based on seasonal needs, weather conditions, and client specifications
• Collaborate with landscape maintenance teams to integrate irrigation with overall lawn care and landscaping projects
• Use mechanical knowledge to diagnose issues quickly and implement effective solutions
• Maintain detailed records of system repairs, inspections, and modifications for client files

Requirements

• Proven experience with irrigation systems installation and repair
• Strong mechanical knowledge related to plumbing, piping, and sprinkler components
• Familiarity with landscape maintenance practices including lawn care and horticulture principles
• Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, and equipment such as trenchers and wire locators safely and efficiently
• Knowledge of landscaping techniques and general lawn management practices
• Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to troubleshooting issues
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record preferred

Nice-to-have skills include experience with lawn care, landscaping projects, use of hand tools and power tools, as well as familiarity with construction sites. Certification or training in horticulture or landscape management will be considered an asset.
