We are seeking a highly skilled, self-driven Senior Data Analyst / BI Analytics to take full ownership of existing reporting, also will be supporting the end-to-end implementation of our enterprise Data Lakehouse initiative. This individual will play a pivotal role in data ingestion validation, warehouse/lakehouse data modeling, testing, and ongoing reporting operations.

Duties/Responsibilities:
- (Immediately)Take full ownership of current reporting, including maintenance and learn the data structure of our operational systems, and data sources.
- Conduct deep data investigations to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and quality across systems.
- Serve as the primary testing and validation resource for the Data Lakehouse implementation (data ingestion, transformations, modeling, and BI consumption layers).
- Partner with technical teams and vendors to support requirements definition, acceptance testing, and post-go-live readiness.
Future & Other Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards and develop reports as needed to support other functions.
- Support advanced analytics initiatives, including ML, predictive modeling, and use of LLM-based tools within the data platform. (Prefer)
- Collaborate cross-functionally to design scalable reporting and analytics solutions.
- Improve documentation, data governance, and data literacy across the organization.
Requirements
SQL & (Plus either Data Warehousing Space and/or BI Development)
- Expert-level SQL such as complex joins, subqueries, etc.
- Strong understanding of relational and dimensional modeling, star/snowflake schemas, and warehouse concepts.
- Strong Excel skills for ad hoc analysis.
- Experience with modern lakehouse architecture or warehousing (Fabric, Databricks, or similar)
- Understanding of data pipelines, ELT/ETL processes, and data ingestion patterns.
- Advanced BI development experience (preferably Power BI)
Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have)
- Understanding of ML/AI fundamentals (no need to be a data scientist but should understand basic concepts).
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure or similar)
- Experience supporting or implementing large-scale data transformations or BI modernization projects.

Salary : $90,000 - $110,000
