Role Overview:
We’re seeking a reliable, professional team member who can manage both the coffee service and client relationships. This role blends barista work with light account management — ensuring events run smoothly from start to finish while representing our brand with professionalism and warmth. - Safely load/unload and set up the espresso cart and equipment.
- Prepare and serve espresso-based drinks with speed, accuracy, and hospitality.
- Act as the on-site point of contact for clients — confirming details, answering questions, and ensuring a smooth experience.
- Break down and clean the cart/equipment after events.
Client & Account Management
- Confirm event details with clients in advance (arrival time, setup, add-ons, special requests).
- Follow up with clients as needed after events (feedback, receipts, next steps).
- Maintain records of events, including timing, setup, and any special notes.
Van Management
- Schedule and coordinate regular van maintenance (oil changes, inspections, car washes, etc.).
- Monitor vehicle condition and arrange repairs as needed.
- Ensure registration, insurance, and inspection are up to date.
- Keep van clean, stocked, and organized for events.
Other Duties
- Assist with inventory tracking and reporting supply needs.
- Capture event photos/videos for social media.
Requirements:
- Prior barista or food service experience strongly preferred.
- Experience in client-facing roles (hospitality, events, or account management).
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Comfortable driving a van and handling equipment.
- Dependable, punctual, and professional.
- Flexible schedule — evenings, weekends, and variable hours depending on event bookings.
- Ability to lift and move equipment (up to 80 lbs).
- Basic familiarity with vehicle maintenance scheduling (or willingness to learn).
Compensation:
- Hourly/event-based pay, starting at $17.00/hr tips.
- Hours vary based on event schedule (heavier during spring and fall, lighter in winter and summer).
