Responsibilities
- Operate shuttle vans and passenger vehicles efficiently along local routes, ensuring passenger safety and comfort at all times
- Maintain accurate records of trips, mileage, and vehicle condition, reporting any issues promptly for maintenance or repair
- Follow all traffic laws, state transportation regulations, and company policies during every shift
- Conduct pre-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure proper functioning of brakes, lights, tires, GPS navigation systems, and other essential equipment
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a delivery driver, bus driver, chauffeur, or shuttle van operator with a strong safety record
- Valid driver’s license appropriate for operating passenger vehicles (e.g., CDL or chauffeur license preferred)
- Knowledge of state transportation regulations and heavy lifting safety procedures
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact professionally
- Strong attention to detail for vehicle maintenance checks and adherence to traffic laws
