Responsibilities
- Safely operate a landscape maintenance truck with trailer to transport team members, tools, and equipment to and from job sites.
- Perform routine landscape maintenance tasks, including mowing lawns, edging, trimming shrubs and trees, weeding flower beds, and concrete edging.
- Operate and maintain landscaping equipment such as lawnmowers, leaf blowers, hedge trimmers, and chainsaws.
- Collect and properly dispose of yard waste, leaves, and other debris to keep job sites clean and tidy.
- Ensure all necessary tools and equipment are loaded, accounted for, and in good working condition; promptly report any issues to supervisors.
- Interact professionally with clients, addressing requests or concerns and providing excellent customer service.
- Follow all safety protocols and company procedures while operating vehicles and using landscaping equipment.
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license and ability to operate company vehicles.
- Previous experience in landscape maintenance, lawn care, or a related field is preferred but not required.
- Physical ability to perform tasks such as lifting, bending, and working outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions to ensure high-quality results.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective teamwork and customer interaction.
- Basic knowledge of landscaping practices, plant care, and safe equipment operation.
- Experience driving larger trucks or specialized vehicles (such as landscape trailers or dump trucks) is a plus.
