Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role located in Southington CT, for a Mold Remediation Technician. The technician will perform tasks such as mold inspection, removal of mold-affected materials, application of EPA-approved products, and ensuring compliance with safety and environmental standards. Responsibilities include assessing damage, restoring areas affected by mold, documenting project details, maintaining equipment, and ensuring client satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Experience in mold remediation, environmental cleaning, or related fields
- Skills in equipment handling, such as negative air machines, air scrubbers, and dehumidifiers
- Basic knowledge of safety protocols, environmental standards, and hazardous materials management
- Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and ability to follow procedures accurately
- Effective communication and customer service skills to interact with clients professionally
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in fast-paced environments
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Physical capability to perform labor-intensive tasks, including lifting and standing for extended periods
- High school diploma or equivalent; certifications in mold remediation or HVAC systems are a plus
