Overview
Green Home Management is a growing multifamily real estate management company committed to operational excellence and financial accuracy. We are seeking an experienced, highly organized Bookkeeper to support the day-to-day accounting operations of our multifamily property portfolio
Position Summary
The Bookkeeper is responsible for maintaining accurate, timely, and organized financial records across multiple multifamily properties. This position works closely with the CEO, property managers, vendors, lenders, and the company's external CPA to ensure that all accounting activities are completed accurately and on time.
Success in this position depends not only on strong accounting skills, but also on organization, ownership, follow-through, and the ability to prioritize and complete tasks independently with minimal supervision.
Key Responsibilities
1. Manage daily bookkeeping using QuickBooks and AppFolio.
2. Record financial transactions accurately and in a timely manner.
3. Enter vendor invoices promptly and maintain supporting documentation.
4. Process Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable.
5. Perform bank and credit card reconciliations.
6. Process payroll using ADP.
7. Pay utilities and recurring vendor invoices before their due dates.
8. Track security deposits and assist with move-out accounting.
9. Maintain accurate financial records for multiple properties.
10. Follow up with property managers and vendors to obtain missing invoices, approvals, and supporting documentation.
11. Assist with month-end closing and support the company's external CPA.
12. Maintain organized digital accounting records and files.
Required Qualifications
1. Minimum of 3 years of bookkeeping experience.
2. Strong working knowledge of QuickBooks.
3. Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
4. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
5. Strong organizational and time management skills.
6. Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
7. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
8. Ability to work independently while maintaining a high level of accountability.
Preferred Qualifications
1. Experience with AppFolio.
2. Experience with ADP Payroll.
3. Experience in multifamily real estate or property management accounting.

Pay: $70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
