We are seeking a reliable and experienced Delivery Driver/Warehouse Worker to join our team. This role involves delivering goods to customers efficiently while supporting warehouse operations. Duties
- Safely operate box trucks and other commercial vehicles to deliver products to various locations according to scheduled routes
- Load and unload cargo using forklifts, pallet jacks, or manual handling techniques
- Ensure accurate and timely delivery of goods while maintaining excellent customer service standards
- Assist in warehouse organization, including moving inventory and stocking shelves
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues
- Follow all safety protocols during loading, unloading, and driving activities
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation for each trip
- Support route planning to optimize delivery efficiency and timeliness
Requirements
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Must be able to pass drug test
- Proven experience as a delivery driver or courier, preferably with route driving experience
- Warehouse experience including the operation of forklifts and pallet jacks is preferred
- Ability to lift heavy loads, at least 50 lbs frequently and perform manual labor safely
- Experience with heavy lifting, moving, and handling large or bulky items
- Knowledge of safety procedures related to driving and warehouse operations
- Ability to operate manual transmission vehicles is a plus
- Strong customer service skills with a professional attitude
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment
- Prior experience operating box trucks or similar commercial vehicles is desirable
