Position Overview
Green Gator Pest Solutions is looking to hire a reliable and motivated Pest Control Technician to join our growing team. This position offers a take-home company work truck, opportunities for growth within the company, KPI bonuses, and commission opportunities. Hours vary depending on the season, typically ranging from 30 to 60 hours per week. Technicians work Monday through Friday, with one Saturday per month on a rotating schedule with other technicians.
Responsibilities
Drive company vehicles safely between job sites while adhering to all traffic laws and safety guidelines.
Conduct thorough inspections of residential and commercial properties to identify pest activity, entry points, and conditions conducive to pest activity.
Apply pest control treatments using appropriate chemicals, traps, and bait stations while following all safety protocols and label instructions.
Educate clients on pest prevention techniques and recommend ongoing maintenance plans to ensure long-term results.
Maintain detailed records of treatments performed, site conditions, products used, and follow-up recommendations.
Provide excellent customer service and maintain professional communication with customers.
Keep company vehicle and equipment clean, organized, and properly maintained.
Qualifications
No previous pest control experience required, but previous pest control or route service experience is a plus.
Clean driving record required.
Strong communication and customer service skills.
Willingness to learn, work hard, and grow within the company.
Ability to work independently and manage a daily service route.
Ability to lift equipment and work outdoors in various weather conditions.
