Position Summary – Responsible for supporting sales representatives, accurate quoting, and coordinating sales-related activities within the company. Inside Sales positions play an important role in maintaining excellent client relationships by acting as an extension of the outside sales and management team. Expected Qualifications for Position:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills required.
• Minimum of two years' experience in a customer service position preferred.
• Industry experience/plant knowledge highly preferred.
• Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic computer skills.
• Ability to prioritize in a time sensitive manner, with strong attention to detail.
• Calm, factual and self-confident in stressful situations.
• Able to plan and organize with multiple departments effectively.
• Team player mindset required.

Key Job Responsibilities:

• Must be knowledgeable, or be willing to learn, about landscaping materials they sell and be prepared to answer all questions that clients may request.
• Ability to uncover customer needs in a consultative manner, and match those needs with the appropriate features and benefits of a particular product.
• Discover new leads to cultivate new clients.
• Improve sales representative's productivity through a variety of support services that allow the sales representatives to spend more time selling.
• Ensure excellent client relations through building partnerships with them.
• Ensure representatives have enough sales support material.
• Act as a first point of contact for urgent calls, emails, and messages when sales representatives are not available.
• Contribute to client satisfaction by ensuring the accuracy and timely processing of orders.
• Handle orders by telephone or email and check that they include correct prices, discounts, and product numbers.
• Maintain sales records as a basis for reports to the senior management team.

Bonus Skills Preferred:

• Southeast US plant identification highly preferred.
• Commercial plant nursery and/or landscaping industry experience highly preferred.
• Ability to be innovative and be resourceful to accomplish goals.
• Language: Applicants bilingual in Spanish are encouraged to apply.
