Job Overview
We are building our team of reliable and motivated delivery drivers in the South Bend area. Green Drake Express is a contractor that delivers FedEx packages using 18-22' step vans. Our daily package volume varies. We are looking for both part time and full time delivery drivers to meet our customers needs. We currently contract package pick-up and delivery services for FedEx in the Northwest Indiana area.
9 months of commercial cargo delivery experience REQUIRED.
CDL NOT REQUIRED. All trucks operate below 26000 GVWR.
Reliability and teamwork are keys to our success. You must have reliable transportation to/from work.
Full time drivers will become part of our core team by performing at a high level and proving they can meet the daily challenges of being a delivery professional. Part time drivers will have the ability to pick up a daily route to help our core team manage the higher volume days.
Our trucks are loaded in South Bend IN and that is where you would start and end your day. Our delivery areas may span across much of the area but is focused in Nappanee/Elkhart area. You will be expected to deliver up to 180-225 packages per day to excel as a successful driver. Our average stops per day range from 100-180 per day. This work is fast paced and physical. It is paramount that you can safely drive a large step van in urban and rural areas and be able to sustain a vigorous pace.
The ideal candidate will have experience with commercial driving safety requirements, route driving, and heavy lifting, as well as a strong commitment to customer service.

Pay: $175.00 - $200.00 per day
Expected hours: 35 – 45 per week
