Job Description
Job purpose
The Lab Technician is responsible for assisting the concentrates process and maintaining the work
area.
Duties and responsibilities
-Packing extraction socks (requires strong upper body strength)
-Emptying used sacks from the prior day
-Keeping up on prior days dishes (minimal)
-Helping in lab clean up once a week (ie: sweeping, mopping, wiping down
counters)
-Gramming hash
-Tubing cartages
-Assisting lead extractor as needed
-Other duties and responsibilities as required
Qualifications
- Excellent verbal communication skills
- Top notch attention to detail
- Highly organized
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- MED Badge required
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to stand
for long periods of time
Working conditions
Long periods of sitting and/or standing, noisy work environment, warehouse temperature affected
by outside conditions. This is an agricultural position involving manual labor.
Physical requirements
Must be able to lift at least 25 lbs and be able to stand, sit, bend, kneel, crouch, and reach.
