Summary
We are an aggressive growth-orientated company looking for a proven Area Manager. This is a high-visibility role in the company with equally high expectations. To be successful you'll need to be ready to get involved in the details while establishing best practices. We need a customer service rock star with performance-driven strategies, the ability to solve problems and manage teams.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Responsible for and based in 1 store within the multi-store area
- Directly oversee store managers and day-to-day operations of up to 7 locations.
- Expected to visit stores on a monthly basis
- Support retail operations in new store openings and launches, coordinating systems, supplies, and inventory
- Support with overseeing project management in new stores and communicating/escalating any issues to the District Manager
- Make sure that all retail store managers are trained and fully understand their positions.
- Follow store practices and procedures. Make sure managers understand and follow these and educate their employees.
- Ensure that all stores are merchandising products correctly according to corporate standards.
- Coordinate the marketing efforts with corporate and stores to reach sales goals
- Conduct Store Reviews/Visits, utilizing the Store Checklist
- Coordinate with District Manager and Human Resources on hiring, terminating, and transfer of employees as needed
- Provide store coverage in case retail staff or managers are not able to work, during busy seasons, vacations, or terminations
- Responsible for having 1:1s with Store Managers. Keep District Managers informed of any issues, feedback, or comments that arise.

Experience:
- 1 years of multi-store experience managing inventory, operation, and customer service
- 2 years of management experience leading a team of 6 or more, including training and coaching with strong leadership and communication skills
- 3 years of experience in a customer service-orientated role
- Experience in a multi-unit environment, knowledge of retail or restaurant industry operations
- Strong organizational, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
