Position Title: Administrative Assistant

Salary: $15/hr

Schedule: Monday-Friday Days

  • Creative with proficiency in production of newsletters, circulars, and other forms of communication.

  • Comfort in using Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

Education and Experience:

  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • 1 – 3 years’ experience and/or training in administrative support role; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience in Senior Living preferred.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to sit for up to 75% of the work day.
  • Ability to stand and walk throughout the work day.
  • Must be able to access and navigate full campus.
  • Ability to maintain mental & visual attention to diversified operations.
  • Ability to function efficiently despite distractions and interruptions.

General Summary:

The Administrative Assistant provides direct administrative support to the Executive Director, Director of Human Resources, and Resident Relations Director with additional support to their respective departments, residents, associates, and guests as required.

Essential Job Duties:

  • Assembles regular written, verbal, and virtual correspondence to residents and associates on behalf of administration and as directed by supervisors.
  • Performs secretarial duties and administrative support tasks for key executives: drafts and types letters, memos, newsletters, and documents; transcribes dictated correspondence and meeting minutes.
  • Administers multiple projects and provides project management as requested by supervisor.
  • Performs public relations duties: answers phones and delivers messages, has significant contact with internal and external professionals and other key contacts.
