What are the responsibilities and job description for the EMT/RN/LPN Summer Camp Nurse (Carmel, NY and Brewster, NY) position at Green Chimneys?
The summer camp nurse/EMT will oversee the medical needs of the summer camp for our Clearpool campus. It is located on a beautiful campus with a full health center. This position is ideal summer work for school nurses or any nurse available from June to August.
Responsible to see that all health standards are maintained as may be mandated by law and agency policy. Observe and report campers' vital signs, symptoms and general condition. Properly record conditions and any treatment rendered. Promptly report injuries of campers and staff to appropriate departments as outlined in procedural manual. Practice Infection Control procedures.
Qualifications:
Current Licensure in New York State in nursing. Valid driver's license and clean driving record required. This is a temporary non-benefit eligible position.
Starting rate of $30/hr.
