JOB FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage the classroom effectively to encourage student participation, minimize distractions and maintain a positive learning environment
- Maintain a clean, respectful, and orderly classroom, and follow classroom and school procedures as directed by the school
- Communicate in a friendly and positive manner towards staff/administrators, students, parents, etc.
- Protect students, equipment, materials, and facilities
- Ensure the safety/confidentiality of students at all times
- Keep records on attendance, accident/incidents
- Leaves notes for the regular teacher at the end of the teaching day went
- Adapt teaching methods to fit the needs of each individual student
- Implement and teach lesson plans and instructions as directed by the absent teacher, or consult with principal or other responsible staff if lesson plan is not provided
Salary : $135 - $150
